Hey folks. It's Sunday evening and I wanted to let everyone know that Bluesdawg reached out to me and let me know that it sold! Thanks. Later. Good morning guitarbites audience. I wanted to get this out on the street as a fellow guitarbites member needs our help. Bluesdawg is trying to sell his superb Gibson Les Paul Double Cutaway. There's nothing wrong with it just for that flat neck radius (typical complaint of a strat player). Anyways, below are the details. For more details, please sign in and reach out to user Bluesdawg or drop grasshopperjames@guitarbites.com a blurb and I'll get him in touch with you.
The guitar is located in Montreal and here are the details: Gibson (USA) Les Paul Special Double Cutaway • Made in USA • Purchased brand new in late 2008 in Wichita, KS • Body: Mahogany, “Worn TV-yellow” finish • Neck: Mahogany w/rosewood fingerboard, 22 frets, 24 ¾-in. scale • Pickups: Gibson P-90 • Switching: 2-vol, 2-tone, 3-way toggle switch • Hardware: Stop tailpiece, Gibson tune-o-matic bridge • Tuners: Kluson/Gibson Deluxe Keystone tuners (original Gibson “button” tuners replaced) I have smoothed out the back of the neck using 2000-grit sandpaper and 0000 steel wool for a faster neck—the original paint made it feel sticky and slow. Excellent condition; no fret wear. Asking price $800 but negotiable.
